We provide infectious disease modelling of varicella and herpes zoster in Norway with focus on economic cost-benefit analysis of potential vaccination campaigns, as part of a wider working group at NIPH.
We have recently worked together with NIPH epidemiologists to model the hepatitis C epidemic in Norway, focusing on prevalence and incidence of the disease, and the impact of treatment.
We develop mathematical models to investigate the spread of resistant bacteria, such as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus. Our work also includes the study of the impact of patient referral networks on the spread of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) pathogens.
